A new floating nightlife experience is set to bring a different kind of energy to Vancouver this summer as a large-scale party cruise launches along the city’s waterfront.
The event will take place aboard the Burrard Queen, offering guests a multi-level entertainment experience as it sails through False Creek, English Bay, and past the downtown skyline.
Organizers say the experience is designed to give locals and visitors an alternative to busy nightlife venues during a summer expected to bring over a million visitors to the city.
Each cruise features live DJs playing a wide range of music genres including hip hop, EDM, Latin, Afrobeats, reggaeton, house, dancehall, Amapiano, and global club hits. Guests can also request songs directly from the DJ booth throughout the night.
The vessel includes two distinct entertainment areas. The indoor club deck offers a high-energy dance floor with a full sound system and lighting setup, while the open-air upper deck provides panoramic views of the ocean, skyline, and surrounding mountains.
Cruises pass several of Vancouver’s most recognizable landmarks, including BC Place, Science World, Granville Island, and the downtown waterfront, offering guests a constantly changing backdrop throughout the experience.
Organizers say the event is built around three main cruise styles: daytime parties, sunset cruises, and late-night sessions, each offering a different atmosphere depending on the time of day.
The experience accommodates more than 250 guests per sailing and runs for several hours with both indoor and outdoor access available throughout the cruise. A licensed bar serving drinks and snacks is also available on board.
Special packages are available for group bookings, birthdays, and private celebrations, with VIP options offered for larger parties.
The cruise departs from 760 Pacific Blvd at Dock A in downtown Vancouver, with guests required to check in 30 minutes before departure. The event is strictly 19+ with valid government ID required for entry.
With its mix of music, skyline views, and open-water atmosphere, the new party cruise is positioning itself as one of Vancouver’s most unique summer nightlife experiences.
