Soccer fans across Metro Vancouver will soon have a chance to test their knowledge of the world’s most popular sport as Fandom Trivia launches a pair of International Soccer Trivia Nights ahead of this summer’s major global football tournament.
The themed trivia events will take place at two The Rec Room and Vancouver locations, giving fans an opportunity to compete in football-focused quizzes covering everything from legendary players and unforgettable goals to iconic international moments and historic matches.
The first trivia night is scheduled for Sunday, May 31, 2026, at The Rec Room Brentwood, while the second event will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at The Rec Room Granville.
Organizers say both nights will feature the same set of trivia questions, meaning participants only need to attend one of the two events.
Teams can include up to six players, although solo participants are also welcome to join in the competition. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, as seating is limited and tables will be available on a first-come, first-served basis depending on the venue.
At the Burnaby location, Eventbrite registration is recommended to help prioritize quiz seating availability. Meanwhile, the downtown Vancouver location requires groups to reserve tables in advance, with walk-in teams placed on a standby list if the venue reaches capacity.
In addition to trivia competition, guests can expect themed costumes, surprise bonus challenges, prize giveaways, and the return of the event’s “Blue Bag of Swag.”
The events are free to attend, with food and drinks available for purchase throughout the evening.
As Vancouver gears up for a massive summer of soccer celebrations and international attention, the trivia nights offer local fans another fun way to get involved in the excitement surrounding the sport.
